Board Election 2018
FSRC has an all volunteer board. Each elected board position term is two years. After two years, the position becomes up for election and any permanent member can be put up for consideration. In order to keep a balance of veteran and rookie board members, the board has staggered the years that board positions are up for election. The following members submitted a photo and bio to the board for consideration.
Only Permanent Members are eligible to vote.

The following are the current submissions for consideration.
I’m Brian Dessauer a long time Foxridge resident and more recent member of the FSRC. Jennifer and I have been married 15 years and moved into foxridge in 2009. Our oldest son John was born shortly after and we began our family in the neighborhood. A few years later our second son Lincoln was born and soon Jenn was outnumbered in our crazy boy house. The summer of 2016 we were invited to join the FSRC as a way to burn off some energy and enjoy the summer sun. In joining the club, we were able to meet some great friends and enjoy this awesome community. Last year John joined the swim team and this year Lincoln did too. We have really enjoyed the activities and social events that have helped make this pool a great place to meet with friends, neighbors and family.
I work here in Centennial for a production finishing company. I am both the operations manager and director of business development. We service major production home builders in the metro Denver area. I would like to offer these skills to continue to grow and nurture the great community at the FSRC. The team currently in place has laid a foundation to improve the pool and create connections in our neighborhood. These are the connections we would love to grow and have as an example of neighborly spirit to our children. I would be privileged with the opportunity to continue the fantastic work that has been done in the past and help grow the great feeling of community within the FSRC.
My name is Richard Stromp and I am hoping to become the next Treasurer of the Foxridge Swim and Racquet Club. Currently I am a senior accountant with Connect for Health Colorado and have been in the accounting field for eight years, mostly with nonprofits. Prior to that, I worked seven years as an administrator for a nonprofit. My experience includes all the necessary roles to act as Treasurer for the club including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger, and payroll. I also have familiarity with tax filings including 1099s, 990s, and sales/use tax. I hold a Bachelor’s in Managerial Economics from the UC Davis and a Master’s in Accounting from CU Boulder. As an added bonus, my wife (Hillary) holds a CPA license and has thirteen years of experience auditing financial statements of nonprofits.
About My Family
Hillary and I fell in love with Foxridge on our house hunting extravaganza in 2011. We couldn’t be happier with the neighborhood. We have two kids, Hayley (7) and Aaron (5). Together we have been members of the Foxridge Swim and Racquet Club every year since we moved in. We love the pool and enjoy going with our neighbors on East Mineral Drive. Our experience has helped convince others to join.
Neighborhood clubs like Foxridge are a gem to our area. I want to make sure that this club continues to succeed. I look forward to working with the board members and committees to make this happen.
My family (Heather, Sam, Sloane) and I have been members of Foxridge Swim and Racquet Club ("FSRC") for three summers and have enjoyed watching FSRC evolve. As a board member, I wish to assist in the continual evolution of the club, grow our membership and grow the value of FSRC to our existing members. Our two children swim on the Foxridge Foxes Swim Team, Heather served as VP for the last two years and I have been a swim and turn official, for the FSRC swim team, for 2 years. We try to spend as much time at the pool as we can. A little about me: Working at FIAT Chrysler Automobiles for 19 years, directly with our dealership-owners has moved me to 7 states since graduating from the University of Maryland in 1999. During that time, my family has been members at three community pools. All with their good aspects and opportunities for improvement. I grew-up swimming and playing water polo in Southern California and love being in the water. I enjoy playing tennis and attended some clinics offered through FSRC this summer. Most of all I enjoy spending time with my family and friends at FSRC.
Thank you for your consideration,
My name is Tim Haar and I wish to be considered for the position of Communications Chair. My family and I moved to Foxridge in late 2015, but have been residents of Colorado since 2003 after graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in Communications. I am passionate about golf, skiing, and spending many a summer day with the family and great friends at the pool. I currently work in project management for large construction, but also served many successful years as a proposal manager, creating, writing, editing, managing, and delivering winning proposals.
I am the current communications chair on the FSRC board and have served for the past two seasons. As communications chair, I helped define and refine many of our current processes to enhance communications to our members. Some of my current accomplishments on the board have been:
Moving our current e-mail distribution system to a free provider, saving the club nearly $500 per year
Creating a clear, concise weekly email to our members, as well as creating other ad hoc communications for distribution
Implementing a text messaging system to alert our members of important information such as pool closures
Helping redesign our current website, as well as, establishing website pages that can be used in the future as to not recreate the wheel every season
Generally being awesome
Additionally, I have been a major contributor to help out in several other areas of the FRSC, and have always been vocal on ways to continuously improve the Club for you, our members. It is paramount to continue to add value to our Club in order to help it grow, as well as offer the best membership experience possible. I know I can continue to be a great asset to this wonderful organization, and can help carry our great traditions forward. Thank you for your consideration.
Tennis Committee Chair - appointed position
Hi! My name is Jaime Martinez, and I am an avid tennis player who grew up in Colorado. I live with my husband, Dave, and my two boys, Brad (almost 7) and Will (4), in Foxridge. Our family has been a part of the neighborhood for 8 years now. I am a teacher by trade, and I love to be involved in my community.
I am very interested in the open position on the Tennis Committee. I am a very passionate tennis player and have been playing tennis since I was in elementary school. When we moved to Foxridge, I was immediately drawn to the Foxridge Swim and Racquet club because of the tennis program’s fantastic reputation both with the adult and junior tennis team programs, as well as the warm and welcoming swim community. As a result we have been members of the club for the past four years. I have been playing tennis with Foxridge and have been a member of the Lady Foxes team since my family joined the club. In addition, my oldest child now swims on swim team, and we regularly participate in the many different club events that are offered for families. Over these years, it has been such a joy to be involved in the tennis program, and I am so proud to be a member of the team who won the First Ladies District Championship in many years. This is a tremendous accomplishment for our team since we do not currently have home courts at the club.
As a member of the tennis team, I have done some volunteering for the tennis program. Through this experience, I have learned a lot about the day-to-day process of managing our current tennis program. I am familiar with the role of being a captain including the handling of the logistics to coordinate our club’s tennis team. I have also become familiar with the many fundraising efforts and possible options that have been presented in order to repair the tennis courts. Most importantly, I am committed to finding the best solution for the repair of our courts so we can continue to host a vibrant tennis program that draws players from many different places.
I would like to be on the board because I believe I will bring many new ideas to the board including innovative ways to revitalize the tennis program, which is an intricate part of the club. Thank you for considering me for the Tennis Committee.
