Originally from Madison, WI, Dave's tennis teaching career has brought him through many different cities. Although his degree is in Criminal Justice, eventually teaching tennis would be his true passion. Dave is member of the US Prof Tennis Assoc and had attained their highest ranking as a P-1 Professional since 1989.
After teaching in Hartland, WI in 1989 at Lake Country Racket and Athletic Club, Dave moved to Naples, FL where he worked at the Head Professional at the Bonita Bay Club located in beautiful Bonita Springs, FL. He then moved to Ocala, FL in 1992 and in 1995 became Director of Ft. King Tennis Center, a 12-court municipal facility. In 2000, he moved back to Naples and become Head Tennis Professional for Cambier Park Tennis Center, a 12-court clay facility located in beautiful downtown Naples.
Since 2002, Dave has returned to Ocala and continues to work at Fort King Tennis Center. Being able to get away in the summertime is something he enjoys, and as many of you know Dave was at Foxridge for three seasons (2003-2005). Dave is now back for his fourth season at Foxridge Swim and Racquet Club.
As for his spare time, any down time he has, he can be found at Washington Park hitting tennis balls with the locals.
He also enjoys buying/selling older cars and parts on Ebay. At the moment he is restoring a 1971 MGB, and a SSNova 1969 350 4-speed car.
Dave is thrilled to be back at Foxridge and pickup where he left off.
