Foxridge Foxes
Head Coach
Hey Foxes! This is my fifth year coaching for Foxridge and I have been on the team since I was 8-years-old.  I attended and swam for Arapahoe High School.  Next year, I will be a senior at the University of Redlands in Southern California where I am studying sociology.  While in Redlands, I work at a local tutoring center, helping the center run smoothly.  Otherwise, I keep busy with school, spend time with friends, watch lots of movies and try to take advantage of the California sun as much as possible.  Last fall, I spent four months in Rome, Italy.  In Rome, I studied the Italian language and traveled throughout Italy and Europe.  I ate pizza, pasta and gelato almost every day!  I am looking forward to a great summer of achieving personal and team bests, pep rallies, gag awards and our crazy-themed meets!!
Hey Foxes! It's that time of year again and I cannot express my excitement for getting to coach the team I grew up with. I am extremely passionate about this position and I hope I can share that enthusiasm and excitement with all of the swimmers. I have been swimming for fifteen years and I strongly believe that it is not only a wonderful way to keep in great shape, but also a wonderful way to connect with the community. I began swimming with Foxridge when I was six and I have never looked back since. Through the years I have swam for the Inverness Stringrays, Aquawolves and Cherry Creek High School. Being a varsity captain, I was able truly connect with others as we shared our love for the sport. I continued swimming as I entered CSU's rigorous division one team and have since moved on to swimming with the Vortex Master's team at Colorado State. Swimming has not only been my passion, it has been a huge part of my life and has taken me places I could not even imagine going otherwise.

Since I grew up swimming with Foxridge I plan on keeping all of the old traditions as well as implementing some new ones. I want to keep team spirit high and yardage low. I strongly believe technique is the most important thing to powerful swimming, so along with weekly stroke clinics, we will be practicing technique daily. I want to get to know each swimmer and where their strengths and weaknesses lie so I am able to properly push them each day. More than anything, I want to make swimming fun and exciting. This sport can get demanding, and although I know we will be working hard to swim fast times, I want the kids to want to come. In order to do that we will work hard to create a strong community of trust and friendship so that team bonding can continue outside of the pool. I have no doubts we will be able to achieve this as a team since I have seen it in action every year I have been at Foxridge. The positive atmosphere and strong community will make for an extremely exciting and memorable year for the Foxridge Foxes.

As much as this is an individual sport, it is just as much a team sport. The friends I have made in swimming have never left my side and we support each other in everything we do. Creating good lifelong health, friends and memories is what swimming is all about and I am thrilled to share these views with young swimmers. I am looking forward to an exciting and eventful summer and I am honored to be a part of such a wonderful experience. See you at the pool! Go Foxes!

Hello everyone! I cannot describe how honored I feel for being able to coach the team I have been swimming for since I was five years old. Our Foxridge Foxes are very much so my second family. Other than swimming for Foxridge I have swam for CAC Stingrays, ACES and Cherry Creek High School. Swimming has always been a large part of my life and I am thrilled to share my passion and knowledge of the sport with all of you. Next year I will be attending  Colorado State University's Honors Program.  I cannot wait for our Foxridge Friday pep rallies, swim meets, swim under the stars, and all of our favorite Foxridge events. I look forward to a summer filled with hard work, fun and team bonding both in and out of the water. See you at the pool!

Hello everyone! I cannot even express how thrilled I am to be a coach for the Foxes.  I have been on this team since I was seven and loved every minute of it! I also swam for CACI Stingrays for about seven years and I am currently an Assistant Coach there as well.  I will be a senior next year at Arapahoe where I swam for almost three years until, sadly, my swimming career ended.  Swimming was basically my life and when it ended I was sad but excited to become a coach and see swimming from the other perspective.  I am so looking forward to all the fun pep-rallys, meets, and meeting all the new Foxes.  This summer will be so exciting and fun and I can't wait to see all the swimmers in the pool!
